• The Council is a “Not For Profit, Mutual Benefit Organization” that seeks to represent the issues that are commonly faced by manufacturers of materials used in the finishing of drywall.

Our Mission

• To improve the quality and standards of the drywall finishing industry
• To speak with a unified and consistent public voice from the viewpoint of the members
• To provide a forum in which to address the concerns and issues of finishing materials manufacturers
• To further the cause of drywall finishing materials, practices, and affiliated industries such that the state-of-the-trade elevates its image and performance

Our Goals

• Establish workman-like practices and industry standards that assist the drywall finishing industry
• To further the growth, development, and acceptance of high-quality, performance-oriented finishing materials
• To broaden the industry awareness of issues that relate to the finishing of drywall
• To educate the members in all fields that will elevate the industry via better-informed members
